About the Project

Eriduna is supposed to be a game that mixes farm simulation / cozy elements with adventure elements. The adventure part will be optional. The setting in which the whole thing takes place should be a lovingly characterized world, we want to mix fantasy / steampunk with a touch of Mesepotan mythology. We love games like Zelda, Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley and want to reinterpret them in a mix.

Team

Kevin Programming, Basic 3D Art, Art Direction

Started learning the Unreal Engine and working on the project in May 2024. Since then, completed several Blender courses to create a foundation for the graphic style with Annabell. Due to his profession as a web developer, programming is not entirely foreign to him. Continuous training in the use of the Unreal Engine and the software used in the project.

Annabell Basic 3D Art

After Kevin had made some progress on the project, she also wanted to get involved creatively. She is currently responsible for the environment art and continues to learn Blender, Adobe Substance Painter and ZBrush.

After working on the first soundtrack myself, I came across Steven's YouTube channel. This not only showed me that I couldn't write a soundtrack of the quality I would have liked, but that we absolutely had to work with him on the project.
